Katy Baron scored the game-winning goal with 10:51 left in the first overtime period to lift Wooster over Ohio Wesleyan in North Coast Athletic Conference action on Saturday at Selby Field.

The game was the first intercollegiate event to be played on the OmniGrass surface at Selby Field and marked the first time on record that the Bishop field hockey team had played an intercollegiate contest at Selby.

Baron's goal came 4:09 into the first overtime period when she took a pass from Anlyn Addis and nudged the ball past Bishop keeper Katie Jones (Pine Plains, N.Y./Stissing Mountain).

The goal broke up what had been an evenly-matched defensive contest. Ohio Wesleyan outshot Wooster, 5-3, during the first half, but Wooster held a 3-1 margin in shots during the second half.

Jones finished with 5 saves for Ohio Wesleyan, while Fighting Scot keeper Anne Leigh had 3 saves.
