Caroline Mason scored to put Wittenberg on the scoreboard and Katy Barrett put the game out of reach with a pair of second-half goals as Wittenberg defeated Ohio Wesleyan in North Coast Athletic Conference action on Wednesday in Springfield.

Mason broke the scoreless tie by punching home a rebound with 20:16 left in the first half.

Barrett made it a 2-0 game with 24:09 left in regulation time, and Barrett added another goal 10 minutes later. Katie Radeackar wrapped up the scoring with a goal in the closing minutes of play.

Wittenberg outshot Ohio Wesleyan, 17-9. Junior Katie Jones (Pine Plains, N.Y./Stissing Mountain) had 5 saves in the first 55 minutes of action and freshman Krista Murray (Rochester Hills, Mich./University Liggett) stopped 2 shots during the final 15 minutes. Sarah Umberger had 7 saves in the Tiger cage.
