Sophomore midfielder Shannon McHenry (Powell/Rancho Buena Vista (Calif.)) set up the game-winning goal and scored twice in the second half to spark Ohio Wesleyan over St. Vincent in a non-conference matchup on Saturday morning at Selby Field.

The Bishops took the lead midway through the first half on a penalty corner. McHenry took the corner, freshman midfielder Kat Mannix (Philadelphia, Pa./Berkshire (Mass.) School) teed it up and junior midfielder Maggie Donovan (Westport, Conn./Staples) finished the play with a shot past Bearcat keeper Barbara Brunetta.

Sophomore defender Helen Herr (Lancaster, Pa./Lancaster Christian) gave the Bishops a 2-0 lead in the closing minutes of the first half, sending a shot from the right side into the left back corner of the cage.

McHenry added a pair of unassisted goals in the second half, scoring in the 52nd and 55th minutes to finish off the Ohio Wesleyan scoring.

Ohio Wesleyan outshot St. Vincent, 25-3. Junior Katie Jones (Pine Plains, N.Y./Stissing Mountain) had 3 saves in the Ohio Wesleyan cage and Brunetta had 13 saves for the Bearcats.
