T10th of 30 at Camp Lejeune Intercollegiate Inv.

Senior Doug McCullough (Sleepy Hollow, Ill./St. Edward) led the Bishops at the Camp Lejeune Intercollegiate Invitational on Friday and Saturday at Camp Lejeune, N.C.

The tournament is played on two courses, with each team playing one round on the Scarlet course and one round on the Gold course. Half the field then plays the third round on the Golf course and half plays on the Scarlet course.

Oglethorpe won the tournament with an 863, finishing a single shot ahead of Methodist. Shorter was third with an 865, followed by Flagler and Rhodes (866), Savannah Art & Design and Johnson & Wales (869), Webber International and Guilford (876), and Ohio Wesleyan and Randolph-Macon (877).

McCullough finished in a tie for 21st place with a 217. Sophomore Jeff Nieman (Loveland/Cincinnati Moeller) tied for 23rd place with a 218, freshman Jesse Chiero (Westerville/South) and sophomore Andy Schillig (Pataskala/Licking Heights) tied for 31st place at 221, and sophomore Kyle Martin (Dublin/Wellington) tied for 64th place at 228.
