4th of 11 at OWU Fall Invitational

Freshman Jesse Chiero (Westerville/South) led the Bishops at the OWU Fall Invitational on Tuesday at Oakhaven Golf Club.

Transylvania won the tournament with a 595, edging Otterbein by one shot. Washington & Jefferson was third at 598, followed by Ohio Wesleyan (621), Muskingum (635), Denison (643), Capital (650), Ohio Northern (662), Columbus State (674), Wilmington (686) and Defiance (835). Chiero tied for third place among individuals with a 5-over-par 147. Sophomore Kyle Martin (Dublin/Wellington) tied for 13th place with a 153, junior Rory Hotaling (Yellow Springs) tied for 30th place at 160 and sophomore Andy Schillig (Pataskala/Licking Heights) tied for 34th place with a 161.
