Bishops' Rudegeair, Holliday, Graf Named to
Academic All-District Basketball Teams

[ Dustin Rudegeair ]Ohio Wesleyan University senior Dustin Rudegeair (Yellow Springs), junior Kyle Holliday (Van Wert) and senior Steffi Graf (Poland/Seminary) were named to the ESPN The Magazine Academic All-District® IV men’s and women's basketball teams, it was announced today.

Rudegeair was a first-team Academic All-District selection and will advance to the national ballot for consideration for the ESPN The Magazine Academic All-America® men's basketball teams. Holliday was a second-team Academic All-District pick in men's basketball and Graf was a second-team Academic All-District pick in women's basketball.

Rudegeair, a post for the Battling Bishops, leads the Bishops in scoring, ranking eighth in the North Coast Athletic Conference with an average of 14.8 points per game. He also ranks eighth in the league in rebounding at 6.7 per contest. Rudegeair is a physical education major with a cumulative grade point average of 3.71.

Holliday, a wing for the Bishops, averages 10.8 points, 4.0 rebounds and 2.0 assists per game. He ranks eighth in the NCAC in steals at 1.67 per game. Holliday is an accounting major with a cumulative grade point average of 3.87.

Graf, a wing for the Bishops, ranks second on the team and 14th in the NCAC in scoring with an average of 10.9 points per game. She also ranks third in the NCAC in free throw percentage (.796), fourth in steals (2.17/game) and ninth in 3-point field goals (1.72/game). Graf is an English major with a 3.82 cumulative grade point average and was an Academic All-District selection in volleyball last fall.

The ESPN The Magazine Academic All-District teams are selected by members of the College Sports Information Directors of America, with District 4 consisting of schools in Michigan, Ohio, Kentucky, Tennessee and Alabama. To be considered for the teams, one must maintain a cumulative grade point average of 3.20 or better and be a starter or important reserve.
