Bishops Picked for Fifth
in 2007 NCAC Title Chase

GRANVILLE, OHIO -- Wabash was tabbed as the 2007 favorite by both conference coaches and media at the North Coast Athletic Conference's 24th annual Football Media Luncheon.

Wabash received 29 of 32 votes in the media poll and 7 of 10 votes in the coaches poll. Ohio Wesleyan was forecast to finish fifth by both conference coaches and media. Wittenberg received the other 3 first-place votes in each poll and was picked to finish second by both coaches and media.

The 2007 season opens on Saturday, Sept. 1. Ohio Wesleyan opens its season on that day, hosting Franklin (Ind.). The Bishops' NCAC opener is on Saturday, Sept. 22, against Wabash.
