Ohio Wesleyan 1, St. Vincent 0
Sept. 15, 2007
Senior defender Diana Boryczewski (Kensington, Conn./Kingswood Oxford) scored the game-winning goal late in the first half and the Ohio Wesleyan defense preserved the lead
by shutting out St. Vincent in the second half as the Bishops edged the
Bearcats in non-conference play on Saturday in Latrobe, Pa.
Ohio Wesleyan took a 1-0 lead with 1:20 left in the first half. In the midst of a scrum in front of the Bearcat cage, freshman attacker Lilly Jianas (Shawnee Mission, Kan./Pembroke Hill) got off a shot and Boryczewski redirected the ball past St. Vincent keeper Jaqueline Novak to put the Bishops ahead for good.

Plains, N.Y./Stissing Mountain) stopping both.
Ohio Wesleyan outshot St. Vincent, 7-4. Jones
finished with 3 saves for Ohio Wesleyan, while Novak was credited with
