Stephanie Maisonet scored the game-winning goal 1:20 into the second overtime to give Geneseo State a non-conference win over Ohio Wesleyan on Saturday in Geneseo, N.Y.

Maisonet fielded a crossing pass from Rianna Travers 6 yards away from the Bishop cage and nudged a shot past Bishop keeper Katie Jones (Pine Plains, N.Y./Stissing Mountain) to end the game.

Jones had kept the Bishops in the game, making 7 saves during the first half and 4 more in the second half. Freshman midfielder Jessica Wright (Lancaster) also stopped a Blue Knight shot to preserve the scoreless tie.

Geneseo State outshot Ohio Wesleyan, 20-3. Jones finished with 12 saves in the Ohio Wesleyan cage. Emily O'Leary stopped 1 shots in the Blue Knight goal.
