at Fred B. Kravetz Invitational

[ Tommy Harman ]Sophomore Tommy Harman (Perrysburg) was leading Ohio Wesleyan after the first round of the Fred B. Kravetz Invitational, hosted by the University of Rochester on Friday at the Oak Hill Country Club West Course in Rochester, N.Y.

St. John Fisher was leading the tournament with a 285, 10 shots ahead of Ohio Wesleyan. Skidmore was in third place at 297, followed by Wisconsin-Eau Claire (301), Rochester (306), and Nebraska Wesleyan (313).

Harman fired a first-round 69 and was tied with Scott Harris of St. John Fisher for the individual lead.

Junior Andy Schillig (Pataskala/Licking Heights) was in fourth place with a 71, sophomore Jordan Benner (Beavercreek) was tied for 17th place at 77, sophomore Jesse Chiero (Westerville/South) was tied for 21st place with a 78, and junior Jeff Nieman (Maineville/Cincinnati Moeller) was tied for 25th place at 79.

The tournament's second round is scheduled to be played at Irondequoit Country Club on Saturday.
