3rd of 10 at Denison Fall Classic

Junior Jeff Nieman (Maineville/Cincinnati Moeller) and sophomore Jordan Benner (Beavercreek) led Ohio Wesleyan at the Denison Fall Classic, hosted by Denison University on Saturday and Sunday at the Granville Golf Course in Granville.

John Carroll won the tournament with a total of 585, defeating host Denison by a single stroke. Ohio Wesleyan finished third with a 599, followed by Baldwin-Wallace (600), Mount Union (601), Otterbein (602), Wittenberg (611), Muskingum (621), Wooster (635) and Heidelberg (653).

Nieman and Benner finished in a tie for ninth place among individuals at 147. Junior Andy Schillig (Pataskala/Licking Heights) tied for 17th place with a 150, junior Kyle Martin (Dublin/Wellington) tied for 29th place with a 155 and sophomore Tommy Harman (Perrysburg) tied for 36th place with a 156.

Junior Adam Claytor (Columbus/Wellington), competing as an individual, tied for fourth place among individuals with a 142.
