Bishops' Jean, Rudegeair, Holliday
Named to All-NCAC Basketball Teams

DELAWARE, OHIO -- Ohio Wesleyan University senior Jesse Jean (Alexandria, Va./Hyde (Conn.) School), senior Dustin Rudegeair (Yellow Springs) and junior Kyle Holliday (Van Wert) were named to the All-North Coast Athletic Conference men’s basketball teams, it was announced today.

Jean and Rudegeair were first-team all-conference selections, while Holliday received second-team all-conference honors.

Jean, a post player for the Battling Bishops, ranks second on the team in scoring with 13.5 points per game and leads the Bishops in rebounding with 8.2 per game. He ranks second in the NCAC in rebounding and field goal percentage (.562), third in blocked shots (1.22/game) and 12th in scoring. Jean was an honorable mention All-NCAC choice last season.

Rudegeair, a post player, leads the Bishops in scoring with 15.6 points per game and ranks second on the team in rebounding at 6.8 per game. He ranks sixth in the NCAC in scoring and eighth in rebounding. Rudegeair was a second-team all-conference selection last year.

Holliday, a wing player, ranks third on the team in scoring at 11.5 points per game. He is tied for 18th in the NCAC in scoring and ranks sixth in steals (1.52/game).

The Battling Bishops finished the regular season with a 17-7 record. Ohio Wesleyan finished in a second-place tie in the NCAC championship race, won the NCAC tournament for the first time since 1988 and will compete in the NCAA Division III tournament beginning on Friday.
