Bishops' Rudegeair Named
to All-America Basketball Teams

[ Dustin Rudegeair ]DELAWARE, OHIO -- Ohio Wesleyan University senior Dustin Rudegeair (Yellow Springs) was named to the d3hoops.com All-America men’s basketball teams, it was announced by d3hoops.com.

Rudegeair was a fourth-team All-America selection.

Rudegeair, a post player for the Battling Bishops, led the Bishops in scoring with 15.8 points per game and ranked second on the team in rebounding at 7.0 per game. He ranked sixth in the North Coast Athletic Conference in scoring and seventh in rebounding.

The Battling Bishops finished the regular season with a 17-7 record. Ohio Wesleyan finished in a second-place tie in the NCAC championship race and won the NCAC tournament for the first time since 1988. The Bishops then defeated Heidelberg and fourth-ranked Centre to advance to the NCAA Division III "Sweet 16" before falling to top-ranked Hope in a sectional semifinal contest. Ohio Wesleyan ended the season with a 22-8 record and was ranked No. 23 in the final d3hoops.com Division III poll.
