Bishops' Skoczen, Wall Named to
NSCAA All-Region Teams

[ Nick Skoczen ]Two Ohio Wesleyan University men’s soccer players were named to the National Soccer Coaches Association of America All-Great Lakes Region teams, it was announced by the NSCAA.

Senior midfielder Nick Skoczen (Chagrin Falls/Kenston) was a first-team all-region selections, while freshman forward Tyler Wall (Columbus/Upper Arlington) was a second-team all-region pick.

Skoczen ranked second on the team in scoring with 7 goals and 5 assists, and shared the team lead with 3 game-winning goals. Skoczen ranked seventh in the North Coast Athletic Conference in points per game.

Wall led the Bishops in scoring with 8 goals and 4 assists. He finished in a fifth-place tie in the NCAC in points per game.

The Battling Bishops finished with a 15-2-2 record. Ohio Wesleyan finished second in the NCAC championship race and won the NCAC tournament title, with the Bishops advancing to the NCAA Division III tournament for the NCAA-record 30th time.
