Sophomore midfielder Jordan Halloran (Springfield/Catholic Central) scored in the opening minutes of the game and the Ohio Wesleyan defense made the lead stand in taking a North Coast Athletic Conference win over Oberlin on Saturday in Oberlin.

Halloran scored an unassisted goal in the ninth minute, giving Ohio Wesleyan a 1-0 lead.

The Bishop defense allowed the Yeomen 10 shots, with only 3 making it to senior goalkeeper Jamison Dague (Bexley), who stopped all 3 to post his fifth shutout of the season.

Ohio Wesleyan outshot Oberlin, 11-10. Zach Lipshultz had 4 saves for Oberlin.
