Freshman midfielder Chad Baker (Dublin/Jerome) scored the game-winning goal as Ohio Wesleyan defeated Earlham in North Coast Athletic Conference play on Saturday in Richmond, Ind.

Baker took a pass from freshman forward Tyler Wall (Columbus/Upper Arlington) and ripped a shot into the back of the Quaker net in the sixth minute.

The Bishop defense took over from there, with senior goalkeeper Jamison Dague (Bexley) making 2 saves.

Ohio Wesleyan outshot Earlham, 20-6. Along with Dague's 2 saves, the Bishop defense turned one Earlham shot away from the goal. Kyle Thompson had 5 saves for Earlham.
