Sophomore Kevin Fahey (Delaware/Hayes) and sophomore Brad Russell (Delaware/Hayes) won 2 events apiece to lead Ohio Wesleyan in a non-conference dual meet against Findlay on Saturday at Pfeiffer Natatorium.

Fahey won the 1000 freestyle in 10:29.46 and the 100 breaststroke in 1:03.72. He also finished third in the 100 backstroke.

Russell swept both 1-meter diving events, taking the first with a score of 122.15 and the second with a score of 189.90.

Other standouts for the Bishops included sophomore Jaimito Fuentes (Massillon/Glen Oak), who was second in the 100 freestyle and the 100 breaststroke and third in the 200 freestyle; sophomore David Gatz (Delaware/Hayes), who finished second in the 200 IM and third in the 100 butterfly; sophomore Usman Javaid (Lahore, Pakistan/Aitchison), who finished third in the 50 freestyle; and sophomore Christopher Potterton (Needham, Mass.), who placed third in the 500 freestyle.

The Bishop 200 medley relay team of Javaid, sophomore Nathaniel Cook (Delaware/Hayes), Gatz and junior Todd Ufferman (Delaware/Hayes) finished second, as did the 200 freestyle relay team of senior Robert Naples (Hamden, Conn./Notre Dame), sophomore Kuang-Ting Hsu (Taipei, Taiwan/National Experimental), Potterton and sophomore Tony Wong (Cleveland/Cleveland Heights).
