Sophomore Kevin Fahey (Delaware/Hayes), sophomore David Gatz (Delaware/Hayes) and sophomore Brad Russell (Delaware/Hayes) won 2 events apiece, but Mount Union outscored Ohio Wesleyan in a non-conference dual meet on Saturday in Alliance.

Fahey won the 200 and 500 freestyles in respective times of 1:52.78 and 5:05.39.

Gatz won the 200 IM in 2:05.78 and the 100 breaststroke in :59.52.

Russell swept both 1-meter diving events, posting a score of 117.75 in the first and 144.50 in the second.

Also taking first-place finishes for Ohio Wesleyan were sophomore Jaimito Fuentes (Massillon/Glen Oak), who won the 100 freestyle in :51.04 and added a second in the 200 IM; and sophomore Usman Javaid (Lahore, Pakistan/Aitchison), who tied for first in the 100 butterfly in :57.72 and finished second in the 50 freestyle.

Other standouts for the Bishops included sophomore Christopher Potterton (Needham, Mass.), who placed third in the 500 and 1000 freestyles; and sophomore Nathaniel Cook (Delaware/Hayes), who was third in the 100 breaststroke.
