[ Daniel Thangarajah ]Sophomore Brandon Luttinger (Hingham, Mass.) was a double winner as Ohio Wesleyan defeated Capital in a non-conference match on Monday at the OWU Tennis Centre.

Luttinger bounced back after losing the first set in a tiebreaker to win the last 2 sets and take a split-set decision at No. 2 singles. He paired with sophomore Adrian Barker (Shaker Heights) for an 8-5 win at No. 1 doubles.

Junior Daniel Thangarajah (Dublin/Scioto) recorded a straight-set win at No. 3 singles, storming back from a 4-1 deficit in the second set to post a 6-4 victory.

Junior Taimour Khan (Lahore, Pakistan/Aitchison) won in split sets at No. 4 singles, junior Garrett Paknis (Morristown, N.J./Madison) dropped the first set but came back for a win at No. 5 singles, and senior Jeff Hering (Sherborn, Mass./Palo Alto (Calif.)) won in straight sets at No. 6 singles.
