Junior Garrett Paknis (Morristown, N.J./Madison) recorded Ohio Wesleyan's only win as Wittenberg defeated the Bishops in the seventh-place match of the North Coast Athletic Conference tournament on Sunday in Oberlin.

Paknis won in straight sets at No. 5 singles, defeating Wittenberg's Daniel McNeeley by scores of 6-2, 6-4.

Sophomore Adrian Barker and sophomore Brandon Luttinger (Hingham, Mass.) fell by an 8-6 score at No. 1 doubles, junior Daniel Thangarajah (Dublin/Scioto) and junior Taimour Khan (Lahore, Pakistan/Aitchison) were defeated, 8-5, at No. 2 doubles, and sophomore John Hering (Sherborn, Mass./Dover-Sherborn) and freshman Zach Weaver (Westerville/South) dropped an 8-6 decision at No. 3 doubles.

Barker and Weaver were defeated in straight sets at No. 1 and No. 6 singles respectively.
