Freshman Zach Weaver (Westerville/South) was a double winner, but Wittenberg edged Ohio Wesleyan in a matchup of North Coast Athletic Conference rivals on Thursday in Springfield.

Weaver posted a straight-set win at No. 6 singles and teamed with senior Jeff Hering (Sherborn, Mass./Palo Alto (Calif.)) to win at No. 3 doubles.

Junior Daniel Thangarajah (Dublin/Scioto) won at No. 3 singles and junior Taimour Khan (Lahore, Pakistan/Aitchison) won at No. 4 singles to give Ohio Wesleyan a split of the singles matches.
