10th of 11 at Capital Rick Meindl Last Call Meet

Junior Alex Havran (Woodinville, Wash./Overlake) and senior Pete MacLeod (Hudson) posted Ohio Wesleyan's best individual finishes at the Rick Meindl Last Call Meet, hosted by Capital University on Friday in Columbus.

Miami of Ohio won the meet with 212 points to 99 1/2 for second-place Muskingum. Wilmington was third with 97 1/2 points, followed by Capital (72), Otterbein (68), Denison (64), Wittenberg (51), Central State (21), Shawnee State (15), Ohio Wesleyan (13) and Washington & Jefferson (10).

Havran finished fifth in the 800-meter run, while MacLeod was fifth in the 5000-meter run.

Other standouts for the Bishops included sophomore Matthew MacKenzie ( Franklin, Mass.), who was sixth in the 800-meter run; and junior Andrew Bloom (Powell/Worthington Kilbourne), who placed eighth in the high jump.
