2nd of 4 at Dayton Meijer Flyer 5K

Sophomore Christian Schlabach (Wooster/Triway) led Ohio Wesleyan at the Meijer Flyer 5K Challenge on Saturday at Indian Riffle Park in Dayton.

Northern Kentucky won the College Division of the meet, compiling 15 points to 49 for Ohio Wesleyan. Wittenberg finished third with 77 points and Rio Grande was fourth with 120 points.

Schlabach finished sixth among College Division individuals, covering the 5000-meter course in 16:28.

Junior David Stefanik (Wooster) placed eighth in 16:40, junior Clay Davis (Dublin/Coffman) finished ninth in 16:41, junior Alex Havran (Woodinville, Wash./Overlake) was 12th in 16:52, and senior Pete MacLeod (Hudson) completed the Bishop scoring with a 14th-place finish in 17:08.

Junior Gary Brenneman (Fredericktown) finished 15th in 17:10 and freshman Jeff Driscoll (Shreve/Triway) was 16th in 17:16.
