Christian Schlabach (Wooster/Triway) led Ohio
Wesleyan at the Great Lakes Colleges Association championship meet, hosted
by Kenyon College on Saturday in Gambier.
Wabash won the meet with 63 points to 70 for Denison. Oberlin was third
with 83 points, followed by Albion (97), Ohio Wesleyan and Kenyon (121),
Wooster (137), Earlham (208) and Kalamazoo (246).
Schlabach finished 16th among individuals, covering the 8000-meter course
in 27:52.3.
Junior David Stefanik (Wooster) placed 19th in 27:54.9, junior Clay Davis
(Dublin/Coffman) finished 27th in 28:04.4, junior Garret Andre-Johnson
(Walnut Creek, Calif./Berkeley) was 28th in 28:05.1, and senior Pete MacLeod
(Hudson) completed the Bishop scoring with a 31st-place finish in 28:13.7.
Junior Gary Brenneman (Fredericktown) finished 34th in 28:20.9 and freshman
Cody Morrison (Caldwell) placed 36th in 28:24.0.
