Junior David Stefanik (Wooster) led Ohio
Wesleyan at the Otterbein Invitational, hosted
by Otterbein College on Saturday in Westerville.
Mount Union won the meet with 62 points to 80 for host Otterbein. Tiffin was third
with 90 points, followed by DePauw (98), Denison (123),
Ohio Wesleyan (133), Rose-Hulman (189), Wilmington (206) and Ohio Northern (264). Wittenberg rounded out the top 10 with a score of 304, followed by Mount Vernon Nazarene (341), Muskingum (353), Capital (405), Oberlin (408), Charleston (413) and Glenville State (492).
Stefanik finished 17th among individuals, covering the 8000-meter course
in 26:32.
Junior Clay Davis
(Dublin/Coffman) finished 22nd in 26:44, sophomore
Christian Schlabach (Wooster/Triway) placed 31st in 27:13, junior Gary Brenneman (Fredericktown) finished 39th in 27:28, and junior Alex Havran (Woodinville, Wash./Overlake) completed the Bishop scoring with a 45th-place finish in 27:49.
Senior Pete MacLeod
(Hudson) was 59th in 28:10, and junior Garret Andre-Johnson (Walnut Creek, Calif./Berkeley) was 62nd in 28:14.
