Bishops' Burke, Patrick, Ridgeway
Named NCAC Players of Week

DELAWARE, OHIO -- Ohio Wesleyan University sophomore David Burke (Hudson), freshman Sean Patrick (Delaware/Hayes) and sophomore Casey Ridgeway (Fredericktown) have been named North Coast Athletic Conference Athletes of the Week for the week of Feb. 25, it was announced by the NCAC.

Burke, a member of the Battling Bishop men's track & field team, was named NCAC Men's Field Event Performer of the Week. He finished second in the triple jump with an effort of 44-4 and was third in the long jump with a leap of 21-10 3/4 as Ohio Wesleyan competed at the Kent State Tune-Up meet on Saturday.

Patrick, a member of the Bishop men's track & field team, was named NCAC Men's Sprinter/Hurdler of the Week. He placed 11th in the 60-meter dash and 17th in the 200-meter dash at the Kent State Tune-Up meet.

Ridgeway, a member of the Bishop women's track & field team, was named NCAC Women's Sprinter/Hurdler of the Week. At the Kent State Tune-Up meet, she placed 11th in the 200-meter dash in a time of :26.15, breaking the school record of :26.30 set by Akeya Terrell in 2003. Ridgeway also finished 13th in the 60-meter dash.
