Bishops' Corbett Named NCAC Player of Week

DELAWARE, OHIO -- Ohio Wesleyan University junior Michelle Corbett (Dublin/Scioto) has been named North Coast Athletic Conference Player of the Week for the week of Oct. 1, it was announced by the NCAC.

Corbett, a forward on the Ohio Wesleyan women's soccer team, scored the game-winning goal in the fifth minute as Ohio Wesleyan opened the week with a hard-fought 2-0 non-conference win over Otterbein. She then scored twice to give the Bishops a 2-0 lead in their North Coast Athletic Conference opener against defending conference champion Kenyon, a game that eventually ended in a 2-2 tie.
