Bishops' Rudegeair Named NCAC Player of Week

DELAWARE, OHIO -- Ohio Wesleyan University senior Dustin Rudegeair (Yellow Springs) has been named North Coast Athletic Conference Men's Basketball Player of the Week for the week of Nov. 26, it was announced by the NCAC.

Rudegeair, a post on the Battling Bishop men's basketball team, led the Bishops with career bests of 25 points and 12 rebounds in a 98-68 win over 20th-ranked Baldwin-Wallace in the first round of the University of Rochester's Holiday Inn Airport tournament on Saturday.

He then scored 7 points during an early 12-0 run that gave the Bishops a 14-2 lead at ninth-ranked Rochester in Sunday's tournament championship game. Rudegeair finished with 14 points and 3 rebounds and was named to the all-tournament team.
