![]() Redmond Named Ohio Wesleyan Jan. 3, 2008 Redmond will coach the Battling Bishops for the 2008 season, with a national search for the position to take place this spring. She replaces Kimberly Rocheleau, who resigned to pursue other opportunities after compiling a 42-17 record in 4 seasons, including a North Coast Athletic Conference championship and an NCAA Division III playoff appearance in 2005. "We're looking to have a strong season with some returning players who have established themselves as championship contenders in the NCAC, and we look to bring this leadership to a focus which will make the University proud and establish a foundation for future growth," Redmond said. Redmond served as assistant women's lacrosse coach at Ohio Wesleyan during the 2001-02 and 2004-05 seasons. She has been Ohio Wesleyan's head field hockey coach for 8 seasons. Redmond was head field hockey coach at Upper Arlington High School from 1984-97. Her Upper Arlington teams finished as state runner-up, won a regional championship and compiled 8 district runner-up finishes. While at Upper Arlington, she also served as an assistant girls lacrosse coach. "Marge has been a dedicated member of our staff and we appreciate her willingness to take on this added responsibility in the short term," Ingles said. "She will bring experience and maturity to the program and we look forward to a great season." Ingles also announced that Dara Lundregan would return as assistant women's lacrosse coach. Lundregan returns for her third season at Ohio Wesleyan after helping the Bishops to season records of 12-3 in 2006 and 11-4 in 2007. A graduate of Roanoke College, Lundregan is a native of Hilliard.
