[ Catrice Mayweather ]Sophomore first baseman Catrice Mayweather (Lewis Center/Olentangy) launched a home run to kick off a 6-run fourth inning that lifted Ohio Wesleyan over Eastern Nazarene on Friday in Fort Myers, Fla.

Melaina Genovese put the Crusaders ahead with a 2-run homer in the second, but the Bishops took the lead with 3 runs in the bottom of the third. Sophomore outfielder Krystle Skaziak (Dublin/Scioto) singled in a run and freshman outfielder Tara VanVranken (North Canton/Massillon Jackson) plated a run with a sacrifice fly to highlight that rally.

In the fourth, Mayweather led off with a home run and sophomore first baseman Emily Bradley (Columbus/Upper Arlington) singled and stole second. Sophomore third baseman Rita Cook (Sidney/Fairlawn) singled home Bradley, and after sophomore outfielder Sarah Cook (Sidney/Fairlawn) reached on an error and stole second, sophomore second baseman Devon Walker (Baltimore/Watkins Memorial) scored Rita Cook with a sacrifice fly. Sophomore shortstop Amanda Sanders (Lima/Bath) walked and VanVranken followed with a 2-run single before Mayweather capped the inning with an RBI double.

Sophomore lefthander Rachel Seibel (Johnstown/Johnstown-Monroe) pitched the complete game for the Bishops, striking out 11.
