Salve Regina 7, Ohio Wesleyan 3

Salve Regina jumped to a 4-0 lead and went on to defeat Ohio Wesleyan on Saturday in Cape Coral, Fla.
The Seahawks scored once in the second and 3 times in the third.
Ohio Wesleyan closed to within 4-2 in the bottom of the third when sophomore outfielder Krystle Skaziak (Dublin/Scioto) led off with a triple and freshman outfielder Tara VanVranken (North Canton/Massillon Jackson) followed with a drive to center that ricocheted off the Seahawk centerfielder's glove and over the fence.
Salve Regina got those runs back in the top of the fourth, and the teams traded runs in the fifth.
Skaziak went 2-for-3 for Ohio Wesleyan.
Sophomore lefthander Rachel Seibel (Johnstown/Johnstown-Monroe) pitched the complete game for the Bishops, striking out 7.
