Ohio Wesleyan's Graf, Gordon, Lester
Named to All-NCAC Women's Basketball Teams

[ Steffi Graf ]DELAWARE, OHIO -- Ohio Wesleyan University senior Steffi Graf (Poland/Seminary), freshman Kayla Gordon (St. Louis, Mo./Mehlville) and senior Kelli Lester (Pataskala/Watkins Memorial) were named to the All-North Coast Athletic Conference women’s basketball teams, it was announced today.

Graf was a first-team All-NCAC selection, Gordon was a second-team all-conference choice and Lester was an honorable mention pick.

Gordon also shared league Newcomer of the Year honors.

Graf, a wing player for the Battling Bishops, led on the team in scoring with an average of 11.2 points per game. She ranks 12th in the NCAC in scoring, second in free throw percentage (.787), fourth in steals (2.04/game) and ninth in 3-point field goals (1.73/game). Graf was an honorable mention All-NCAC selection last year.

Gordon, a post player for the Battling Bishops, ranked second on the team in scoring with an average of 10.6 points per game. She ranks 17th in the NCAC in scoring and fourth in field goal percentage (.502).

Lester, a post player, led the Bishops and ranks 20th in the NCAC in rebounding with an average of 4.7 boards per game.

The Battling Bishops finished the season with an 18-8 record and tied for second place in the NCAC championship race.
