Wooster finished third with 886 1/2 points, followed by Allegheny (835 1/2), Oberlin (659), Wittenberg (624), Ohio Wesleyan (555), and Hiram (489). Hanahan placed fifth in the 3-meter diving event and ninth in the 1-meter diving, Donnan finished sixth in the 1-meter diving and ninth in the 3-meter diving, and Roby was 10th in the 1650 freestyle, 14th in the 400 IM and 22nd in the 200 IM. Other standouts for the Bishops included sophomore Kendra Klossner (Naperville, Ill./Neuqua Valley), who finished 11th in the 200 backstroke, 12th in the 100 backstroke and 15th in the 50 freestyle; senior Natalie Cuevas (Chicago, Ill./Latin School), who was 11th in the 3-meter diving and 13th in the 1-meter diving; freshman Marisa Obuchowski (Baltimore, Md./Pikesville), who was 14th in the 100 breaststroke, 20th in the 200 backstroke and 21st in the 400 IM; freshman Brenna Irrer (Ann Arbor, Mich./Pioneer), who finished 14th in the 200 breaststroke, 15th in the 400 IM and 17th in the 100 breaststroke; junior Katie Keleshian (Richmond Heights/Regina), who placed 15th in the 100 backstroke and the 1650 freestyle and 19th in the 200 backstroke; junior Tarenne Ferenchak (Haddonfield, N.J.), who was 18th in the 1650 freestyle and 23rd in the 400 IM; junior Caitlin Hagen (East Lyme, Conn.), who was 19th in the 100 breaststroke and 21st in the 200 breaststroke; junior Meghan Warren (Marlton, N.J./Shawnee), who placed 18th in the 200 backstroke, 21st in the 100 backstroke and 24th in the 400 IM; junior Megan Downing (Mentor/Gilmour Academy), who finished 21st in the 100 breaststroke and 22nd in the 200 breaststroke; junior Katie Germano (Towaco, N.J./Montville Township), who placed 22nd in the 200 butterfly and 23rd in the 200 backstroke; sophomore Ashley Rosenquist (Willits, Calif.), who finished 22nd in the 1650 freestyle; junior Kim Leary (Chagrin Falls), who was 23rd in the 1650 freestyle; and senior Rachel Ryan (Kinnelon, N.J.), who finished 24th in the 50 freestyle and 24th in the 100 freestyle. The Bishop 200 freestyle relay team of Klossner, Keleshian, Roby and Ryan finished seventh, as did the 400 medley relay team of Warren, Irrer, Obuchowski and Ryan. The Bishop 200 medley relay team of Keleshian, Downing, Ryan and Klossner finished eighth, as did the 800 freestyle relay team of Klossner, Warren, Keleshian and Roby and the 400 freestyle relay team of Klossner, Obuchowski, Keleshian and Ryan. Ohio Wesleyan diving coach Brian Book was named NCAC Women's Diving Coach of the Year. |
