Freshman Erin Cohn (Highland Heights/Andrews Osborne) and freshman Pam Quigney (Mentor) were double winners for Ohio Wesleyan, but Allegheny defeated the Bishops in a quarterfinal match of the North Coast Athletic Conference tournament on Friday in Oberlin.

Ohio Wesleyan will face Earlham in a consolation semifinal match on Friday at approximately 7 p.m.

Cohn and Quigney won in straight sets at No. 6 and No. 5 singles respectively. Earlier, they had combined for a decisive 8-0 win at No. 3 doubles.

Senior Katie Figgie (Pepper Pike/Gilmour Academy) was defeated in split sets at No. 1 singles, while Figgie and senior Kirsten Pfund (Libertyville, Ill.) were defeated, 8-5, at No. 1 doubles.

Senior Kristen Carney (Ann Arbor, Mich./Pioneer) and sophomore Mollie Campbell (Burlington, Vt.) fell at No. 2 doubles, also by an 8-5 count.
