Senior Kristen Carney (Ann Arbor, Mich./Pioneer) recorded a victory for Ohio Wesleyan against Northern Kentucky in the Ashland Invitational on Saturday in Ashland.

Carney defeated Northern Kentucky's Stephanie Isaacs by a score of 8-7 (8-4) at No. 1 singles. The Bishops also picked up default wins at No. 6 singles and No. 3 doubles.

Against host Ashland, Carney and Kirsten Pfund (Libertyville, Ill.) were credited with a default win at No. 1 doubles.
