9th of 10 at Capital Rick Meindl Last Call Meet

Senior Donna Langerfeld (Syracuse, N.Y./Westhill) and sophomore Amber Alegria (Tucson, Ariz./Salpointe Catholic) recorded Ohio Wesleyan's top individual finishes at the Rick Meindl Last Call Meet, hosted by Capital University on Friday in Columbus,

Capital won the meet with 183 1/2 points to 129 points for second-place Otterbein. Wilmington was third with 76 1/2 points, followed by Muskingum (72), Denison (62), Wittenberg (61), Central State (43), Washington & Jefferson (30), Ohio Wesleyan (27), and Shawnee State (1).

Langerfeld finished second in the 1000-meter run, while Alegria was second in the 400-meter dash.

Other standouts for the Bishops included sophomore Santa Zalite (Winston-Salem, N.C./Reynolds), who placed third in the 1000-meter run; and sophomore Hannah Winant (Gaithersburg, Md.), who was fifth in the 400-meter dash.
