Sophomore Sharon Rymut (Broadview Heights/Brecksville-Broadview Heights), sophomore Casey Ridgeway (Fredericktown) and sophomore Claire Everhart (Edinboro, Pa./General McLane) won events to lead Ohio Wesleyan at the Kenyon Spring Invitational on Saturday in Gambier.

Otterbein won the meet with 141 points to 123 1/2 for Oberlin. Ohio Northern finished third with 120 points, followed by Capital (110 1/2), Wooster (66), Ohio Wesleyan (64), John Carroll (44), Kenyon (38), Hiram (10) and Denison (8).

Rymut won the discus with a throw of 127-1 and finished second in the hammer.

Ridgeway won the 100-meter dash in a time of :12.78 and placed sixth in the 400-meter dash.

Everhart won the 1500-meter run in 4:49.65.

Other standouts for the Bishops included sophomore Sarah Shinn (Edinboro, Pa./General McLane), who finished second in the 800-meter run; and freshman Rachael Newman (Strongsville), who placed fourth in the 400-meter dash and fifth in the 200-meter dash.
