Sophomore Sarah Shinn (Edinboro, Pa./General McLane) led Ohio Wesleyan at the All-Ohio Cross Country Championship meet, hosted by Ohio Wesleyan on Friday at the Methodist Theological School and Dornoch Golf Club in Delaware. Complete Results

Shinn finished 57th among individuals, completing the 5000-meter course in 20:26.3.

Sophomore Claire Everhart (Edinboro, Pa./General McLane) followed in 62nd place in a time of 20:33.3, junior Leah Schmelzer (Marion/Pleasant) finished 74th in 20:45.9, junior Laura Binkley (Columbus/Bishop Watterson) was 92nd in 21:03.1, and freshman Kat Zimmerly (Edinboro, Pa./General McLane) rounded out the Ohio Wesleyan scoring with a 122nd-place finish in 21:34.6.

Freshman Jesi Dackin (Reynoldsburg) placed 153rd in 22:01.3, and senior Donna Langerfeld (Syracuse, N.Y./Westhill) was 155th in 22:03.8.

The 14th-place finish was the third straight top-20 finish for Ohio Wesleyan at the All-Ohio meet and marked the third straight season in which the Bishops improved their finish in the team standings. Ohio Wesleyan placed 15th in 2006 and 18th in 2005.
