T2nd of 15 at Allegheny Guy W. Kuhn Invitational

[ Jamie Chiero ]Junior Jesse Chiero (Westerville/South) led the Bishops at the Guy W. Kuhn Invitational, hosted by Allegheny College on Sunday and Monday in Meadville, Pa.

Indiana (Pa.) won the tournament with a total of 575, followed by Allegheny and Ohio Wesleyan at 586. Rochester and Wittenberg tied for fourth place at 597, followed by Denison (602), Washington & Jefferson (604), Carnegie Mellon (605), St. Vincent (606), Gannon (613), Westminster (622), Wooster (631), Slippery Rock (646), Penn State-Behrend (647) and Hiram (689).

Chiero tied for third place among individuals with a total of 143.

Senior Jeff Nieman (Maineville/Cincinnati Moeller) and senior Andy Schillig (Pataskala/Licking Heights) tied for 13th place at 147, junior Jordan Benner (Beavercreek) tied for 21st place with a 149, and junior Tommy Harman (Perrysburg) tied for 53rd place at 156.
