Nov. 6, 2008

The Ohio Wesleyan men's basketball team was predicted to finish third in voting by both coaches and media at the North Coast Athletic Conference's 25th annual Basketball Media Day.

Ohio Wesleyan, which has claimed 4 NCAC titles, returns one starter and 7 letterwinners from a team which won the NCAC tournament, advanced to the NCAA Division III "Sweet 16" and finished with a 22-8 record last season.

The Bishops' 2008-09 season opens on Friday, Nov. 21. Ohio Wesleyan begins its NCAC schedule on Dec. 6 at Wooster. The NCAC tournament will be held over the final week of February, with the men's and women's semifinals and finals at the site of the respective high seeds on Feb. 27-28.
