Sophomore Scott Hellberg (Sarver, Pa./Pittsburgh Central Catholic) was a double winner for Ohio Wesleyan, but Wooster outscored the Bishops in a non-divisional matchup of North Coast Athletic Conference opponents on Wednesday at Gordon Field House.
Hellberg defeated Wooster's Matt Hoch at No. 4 singles, posting a 6-2, 7-6 decision. Hellberg also teamed with freshman Kevin Kahn (New Albany) for an 8-5 win at No. 1 doubles.
Junior Brandon Luttinger (Hingham, Mass.) recorded Ohio Wesleyan's other win, outlasting Wooster's Steve Conroy at No. 3 singles by scores of 6-1, 5-7, 6-2.
