at Denison Last Chance Meet

Junior Steve Brown (Redford Township, Mich./Redford) won an event to lead Ohio Wesleyan at the Denison Last Chance Meet, hosted by Denison University on Friday in Granville.

The meet was not scored.

Brown broke the tape in the 55-meter hurdles in a time of :07.74.

Other standouts for the Bishops included sophomore Jeff Driscoll (Shreve/Triway), who was second in the 800-meter run; senior Andrew Bloom (Powell/Worthington Kilbourne), who placed third in the 55-meter hurdles; junior Bryce Mathias (Centerburg), who was third in the 200-meter dash; junior Scott Hassee (Norwalk), who finished third in the high jump; senior Jon Smith (Clyde/Bellevue), who placed third in the pole vault; junior Kyle Faris (Olmsted Falls), who was fourth in the shot put; junior Will Alford (Maple Heights), who finished fifth in the 55-meter dash; sophomore Kody Law (Reynoldsburg), who placed fifth in the 400-meter dash; and freshman A.J. Sayed (Punta Gorda, Fla./Charlotte), who was fifth in the long jump.
