Bishops' Davis, Shinn Named
NCAC Players of Week

DELAWARE, OHIO -- Ohio Wesleyan University senior Clay Davis (Dublin/Coffman) and junior Sarah Shinn (Edinboro, Pa./General McLane) have been named North Coast Athletic Conference Players of the Week for the week of Feb. 23, it was announced by the NCAC.

Davis, a member of the Battling Bishop men's track & field team, was named Distance/Middle Distance Runner of the Week. He placed 16th in the 3000-meter run at the Kent State Tune-Up meet on Saturday, finishing in a team season-best time of 8:51.83.

Shinn, a member of the Battling Bishop women's track & field team, was named Distance/Middle Distance Runner of the Week. Shinn finished second in the 800-meter run in the Akron Zips Invitational on Friday, clocking a team season-best time of 2:17.19. She also placed 20th in the mile run at the Kent State Tune-Up meet on Saturday, finishing in 5:27.52.
