Bishops' Farr Named
NCAC Player of Week

[ Mason Farr ]DELAWARE, OHIO -- Ohio Wesleyan University freshman Mason Farr (West Lafayette, Ind.) has been named North Coast Athletic Conference Pitcher of the Week for the week of April 6, it was announced by the NCAC.

Farr, a left-handed pitcher on the Ohio Wesleyan baseball team, pitched the Bishops to a 12-1 win in Game 2 of an NCAC West Division series at Earlham on Saturday. He scattered 5 hits, struck out 8 and walked none over the first 6.0 innings to earn his fifth win in as many decisions. Farr opened the week with 2.0 hitless innings of relief in a game at 10th-ranked Heidelberg, striking out 3 and walking none. He did not receive a decision in a game Heidelberg won, 6-5, in 11 innings. On the week, Farr was 1-0 with a 0.00 earned run average. He struck out 11 and walked none in 8.0 innings pitched.
