NCAC Player of Week

[ Rob Young ]DELAWARE, OHIO -- Ohio Wesleyan University junior Rob Young (Langhorne, Pa./Council Rock South) has been named a North Coast Athletic Conference Player of the Week for the week of May 4, it was announced by the NCAC.

Young, an attacker on the Battling Bishop men's lacrosse team, was named NCAC Men's Lacrosse Player of the Week. He collected a goal and an assist as Ohio Wesleyan outscored Wooster, 5-0, during the second quarter and went on to an 11-5 NCAC win on Wednesday. Young led the Bishops with 3 goals and an assist in the game. Young then scored a man-down goal during a 4-0 second-quarter run that put Ohio Wesleyan ahead to stay, then added 3 goals during the fourth quarter to help the Bishops pull away for a 13-7 NCAC win over Wittenberg on Saturday. He scored a team-high 5 goals in the game. On the week, Young tallied 8 goals and an assist.
