Bishops' Wall Named
NCAC Player of Week

[ Tyler Wall ]DELAWARE, OHIO -- Ohio Wesleyan University sophomore Tyler Wall (Columbus/Upper Arlington) has been named a North Coast Athletic Conference Player of the Week for the week of Nov. 10, it was announced by the NCAC.

Wall, a forward on the Battling Bishop men's soccer team, set up the game-winning goal as Ohio Wesleyan defeated Kenyon, 4-0, in an NCAC tournament semifinal contest on Wednesday. He then scored the game-tying goal in the NCAC tournament championship game, which ended in a 2-2 tie. Ohio Wesleyan outscored Wittenberg on penalty kicks, 4-3, to win the NCAC tournament title for the second straight year and the seventh time in the 9 seasons that the NCAC tournament has been contested.

With the tournament win, Ohio Wesleyan receives the NCAC's automatic bid to the NCAA Division III tournament, the Battling Bishops' NCAA-record 31st NCAA Division III playoff appearance.
