[ Rachel Seibel ]Junior lefthander Rachel Seibel (Johnstown/Johnstown-Monroe) and freshman righthander Britt Rhea (Mount Vernon) combined on a no-hitter and freshman infielder Ashley Allen (Richwood/North Union) launched a grand slam to highlight the Ohio Wesleyan offense as the Bishops blanked Carroll to post their second shutout of the day on Monday in Fort Myers, Fla.

Ohio Wesleyan took a 3-0 lead in the first, and Allen's grand slam highlighted a 7-run second frame.

Sophomore outfielder Tara VanVranken (North Canton/Massillon Jackson) belted a 2-run shot during the Bishops' 3-run third inning that finished off the day's scoring.

Seibel allowed a runner on an error in the first inning, the only Pioneer baserunner to reach base safely. Rhea came on in the fourth and pitched the final 2.0 innings.

Allen went 2-for-2 and scored twice while driving in 5 runs.

VanVranken was 2-for-2 with 3 runs scored and 3 RBI, junior second baseman Emily Bradley (Columbus/Upper Arlington) was 3-for-3 with 3 runs scored, and freshman catcher Nikka Bonamase (Canfield/Youngstown Ursuline) went 1-for-3 with a double and a run scored.
