Bishops' Holliday, Quigney Named to
d3hoops.com Team of the Week

DELAWARE, OHIO -- Ohio Wesleyan University senior Kyle Holliday (Van Wert) and sophomore Pam Quigney (Mentor) have been named to the d3hoops.com Team of the Week for the week of Dec. 1, it was announced by d3hoops.com.

Holliday, a wing on the Battling Bishop men's basketball team, led the Bishops with a career-high 25 points in an 80-58 win over Marietta on Friday. He hit a 3-pointer to help the Bishops pull away after Marietta closed to within 61-54 during the second half. Along with his 25 points, he also contributed 6 rebounds and 3 assists. Holliday then led the Bishops with 18 points in a 69-66 win over Albion, hitting a key basket down the stretch to give the Bishops breathing room after Albion had cut an 18-point deficit to 3 during a second-half rally. He also added 5 rebounds and 2 assists in the game. On the week, Holliday was 13-for-28 from the field, including 6-for-16 from 3-point range, and averaged 5.5 rebounds and 2.5 assists per game.

Quigney, a guard on the Battling Bishop women's basketball team, scored a career-high 31 points and led the Bishops with 4 assists in Ohio Wesleyan's 83-79 loss at Franklin on Tuesday. She scored a career-high 32 points in an 86-78 win over Notre Dame on Saturday, going 11-for-19 from the field and 8-for-8 from line. She finished the week with 18 points against Olivet in the championship game of Olivet's Thanksgiving Tournament, going 4-for-6 from field, all from 3-point range, and 4-for-4 from line. Quigney was named the tournament's Most Valuable Player. On the week, she went 24-for-44 (.545) from the field, 11-for-16 (.688) from 3-point and 20-for-21 (.952) from the line. She scored 79 points, an average of 26.3 per game, and averaged 4.3 rebounds and 3.3 assists.
