Sophomore outside hitter Stacey Tighe (Lewis Center/Olentangy) led Ohio Wesleyan on the second day of its annual Bishop Invitational on Saturday at Branch Rickey Arena.

Bluffton defeated Ohio Wesleyan in the Bishops' first match of the day, winning by scores of 25-14, 25-16, 25-16. The Bishops came back later and were defeated by Grove City by scores of 25-18, 25-17, 25-13.

Tighe shared the Bishop lead with 4 kills and recorded a team-high 4 solo blocks in the match against Bluffton. Junior outside hitter Kristin Kovach (Chagrin Falls/Kenston) also contributed 4 kills, sophomore setter Sarah Marshall (Lima/Senior) doled out 11 assists, and junior libero Katie Schlaudt (Holland, Mich.) had 6 digs.

In the Grove City match, sophomore middle hitter Lainey Kekic (Canfield/Western Reserve) had team bests of 8 kills and 3 blocks, while Tighe added 7 kills. Marshall's 22 assists paced the Bishop offense, and Schlaudt's 5 digs highlighted the Bishop defense.
