[ Lainey Kekic ]Sophomore middle hitter Lainey Kekic (Canfield/Western Reserve) and senior middle hitter Janna Dagley (Beavercreek) stood out for Ohio Wesleyan at the Rose-Hulman Invitational on Saturday in Terre Haute, Ind.

Rose-Hulman defeated Ohio Wesleyan in the Bishops' first match of the day, winning by scores of 25-17, 25-22, 25-20. The Bishops faced Wilmington in their second match of the day and were defeated by scores of 26-24, 25-14, 25-20.

Dagley led the Bishops with 10 kills against Rose-Hulman. Sophomore outside hitter Alexa Bean (Columbus/Upper Arlington) added 9 kills. Sophomore setter Sarah Marshall (Lima/Senior) dished out 27 assists and junior outside hitter Kristin Kovach (Chagrin Falls/Kenston) sparked the Bishop defense with a team-high 20 digs.

Against Wilmington, Kekic led the way with 9 kills, while sophomore outside hitter Stacey Tighe (Lewis Center/Olentangy) followed with 7 kills. Marshall stood out on both offense and defense for the Bishops, compiling team bests of 27 assists and 13 digs, and Dagley contributed a team-high 4 blocks.
